THE NEW YORK TRANSIT MUSEUM IS NYC HISTORICAL GEM
Join me as I head out to explore the New York Transit Museum. Located on 99 Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn, NY, it's only a short subway ride from the Financial District, which is where I was staying at. If you plan on visiting this NYC hidden gem, make sure you reserve your tickets online in advance. Tickets are $ 10 USD per person and are non-refundable. Check their website for more information https://www.nytransitmuseum.org/. This is a really fun museum to visit, I had a great time learning about the history of New York's subway. It’s great for all ages and very interactive. The details behind the build from architecture to engineering to the tiles used for the iconic station names, every detail is explained with plenty of photos. For me, the highlight of the New York Transit museum's exhibit is the train car collection! As much as people use this public transit system when visiting New York City, it’s great to learn the history behind it!
