DJI Mavic Pro Footage | El Paraiso, Tulum, Mexico

So I managed to get my hands on a DJI Mavic Pro drone in December! At a local Best Buy of all places! I know that's crazy! I literally drove around Central Florida for about 6 hours and was able to locate one at a Best Buy in the Orlando area. It was still on the truck and the store manager had to personally go back and take it off the truck for me! Woo hoo!  I know you must think I'm a weirdo, but you have no idea how hard it is to get one of these drones right now! I actually had ordered my drone a few days after it was released on Amazon; through a DJI authorized dealer, but a few weeks later they emailed me and informed me that my order had been cancelled due to the high demand of the Mavic Pro.  So high, that DJI was informing their authorized dealers that they wouldn't receive any shipments for at least 8 to 10 weeks. I was pissed!

Anyhow, I already had travel plans for December and my goal was to get the compact sized Mavic Pro. I own a Phantom 3 Pro, but honestly when it comes to traveling I hate bringing it along because of it's size. Long story short, I took my Mavic with me on my Mexico trip and created this video of Playa El Paraíso which is located in Tulum.

I absolutely loved this beach! One of the tour guides in Playa del Carmen gave me the tip. Since I had a rented a car, she suggested to take the quick 45 minute drive south of Playa del Carmen and check out this beach.  What's great is that it isn't expensive! You actually have to go to the El Paraíso Hotel to access this beach. I'll have more on this in another post very soon.  For now check out the video! Enjoy!
